PC sporting Activities launched at PC AZIRE

  The PCC Moderator's Representative for the NW Region Rev. Asah Peter has launched activities for the 2020 PC DAY. The ceremony to launch these activities took place at the handball pitch besides the church compound at Presbyterian Church Azire. The event started at about 3:45pm with an evangelistic march pass during which all the movements and Choirs of PC Azire answered present and were graded on 10 marks. Amongst these groups dressed in assorted sports attires was the Amazing Session lead by the Moderator's Representative Rev Asah Peter and the First Associate Pastor Rev. Asenek Cynthia. Standing in lines as the groups arrived the ceremonial ground, they were lead by the Congregational Choir's Music Director General Mrs Queenta in the Anthem of the PCC and the CC will later present a special UEFA Champions league Anthem.  The Parish Pastor Rev Asah Peter proceeded to launching the activities while calling on God to be the ever present till the activities roundup on Sund...

Sporting Activities intensified

  With three major events to partake in, the CYF group of Azire has intensified sporting Activities. Headed by the group's sports secretary Bro MUYAH EZIKIEL, members turned up at 4pm at the church premises where stretch up exercises took places before brothers broke up to major exercises in football while the able sisters took up the handball and volleyball. The group in the days ahead will be facing the Congregational choir in a match in group A in the PC DAY CHAMPIONSHIP. Later they will lock horns with other teams in a local championship in NTARINKON and will finally carried out the Amazing champion leaque with teams selected within the group to compete with each other.  Today the 1st November 2020, the CYF group of AZIRE, joined the congregation to offer thanks to God.

14 new members gain full statues in CYF Azire

  CYF Azire has admitted fourteen(14) new members into the fold of soul winning. After going through an extra ordinary two years period, the 14 members finally gained full admission into CYF Azire and named the "BATCH OF ENDURANCE" The event started with a divine service at PC Azire led by the Moderator's Representative of the NW Region who doubles as the Parish Pastor. After a speech by the group's President sis Chick Brenda, the Zone spear headed by the Zonal Coordinator Bro Fonguh Amos examined the laurets and the tropping of colours and other emblems of CYF was carried out by other Zonal Executives like Bro LESLEY from CYF Njimafor, Sis Mirable from CYF CHOMBA amongst others. The Parish Pastor then took the power to question and empower the new members who took their vows before God and the congregation of about 400 christians. CYF AZIRE prepares for 2020 group'sDay

CYF AZIRE like in the past organised serious daily practice to enhance its songs and perfect its members for its admission for new members and their dedication. The songs bench led by the song secs Sis Endah Marceline and Sis Akwago Adeline piloted the events of song practice. The members on their part were increasing daily in their numbers.  During the practice members were taught how to sing with dynamics and articulation .

CYF resumes sporting activities

  The CYF group of Azire, champions at the 2019 Zonal rally for Bamenda central zone B, have resume sporting activities. The sports exercise this Friday 24th Oct 2020 at the church premises. It commenced with stretch up exercise coordinated by the sports Secretary bro Muyah Ezikiel and was sis Philen. In attendance was group members both brothers and sisters. After the short exercise brothers organised a football match while some sisters were training volley ball and handball. At the end of the games, the sports noted that the intergroup competition shall be relunched next Friday and four teams were formed to constitute the championship The day ended with prayers and departure of group members amongst which were members newly admitted into the group and also members that were won for Christ during the last Dedication and Admission of new members into the group on Sunday 18th October 2020.
